1 dead after motorcycle crashes into parked vehicle in Ham Lake

A motorcyclist died early Friday after crashing into a parked vehicle in the north metro. 

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the fatal crash happened just before 3 a.m. in the 2300 block of Bunker Lake Blvd. NE in Ham Lake. 

Deputies arrived at the scene and found that the driver of the motorcycle was the only person involved in the crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe the motorcycle was traveling east on Bunker Lake Blvd. NE when it left the roadway and hit a parked vehicle. 

The identity of the driver has not been released and no further information is currently available.
