1 killed, 1 injured after being ejected from 3-wheel motorcycle
A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a three-wheel motorcycle crash in western Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Barron County, Wisconsin, Sheriff's Department, the three-wheel motorcycle was traveling north on Highway 53 between Chetek and New Auburn when it left the road and caused both riders to be thrown from the vehicle at around 3:09 p.m.
The driver, Richard Knoll, 63, of Rice Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Lois Allen, 72, of Rice Lake, was flown to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
