1 killed in ATV rollover crash in southern Minnesota

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

One person died in an ATV accident in North Mankato late Thursday night. 

A call to the Nicollet County Sheriff's Office around 10:45 p.m. Thursday reported an ATV accident at a residence on Judson Botton Road in rural North Mankato. The accident was not witness by anyone. 

Deputies arrived at the scene of the crash a short time later and found a female occupant who had suffered fatal injuries. 

Alcohol is not a factor in the crash. 

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of her family.
