A child suffered serious injuries after falling approximately five stories at Interstate State Park in Taylors Falls, Minnesota.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office received a report of a rock fall at the park at 2 p.m. Thursday, and when they got there learned that the child had fallen about 50 feet from a rock.
They had landed in an area that deputies were not able to reach because of the cliffs.
Instead, the Taylors Falls Fire Department used boats to get to the them before taking them to shore, where they was treated by Lakes Regions EMS.
They were taken to St. Croix Hospital where they were listed in serious condition.
The identity of the child has not been released.
