$1,000 reward offered after racist graffiti found on fence in Edina
Police in Edina are trying to find the person or persons responsible for racist graffiti in a residential neighborhood this week.
The incident reported on Monday saw the offensive slur spray-painted onto a fence in the 6300 block of Rolf Avenue.
It is believed to have happened in the early morning hours of Thursday, Mar. 26.
A $1,000 reward from the Edina Crime Prevention Fund is being offered for information that leads to the perpetrator(s).
"We take these types of incidents very seriously and are actively investigating this incident,” said Edina Police Sgt. Brandon Kuske.
"If residents ever witness suspicious behavior, they should call 911 immediately to report it."
Anyone with information should contact Edina PD on 952-826-1600, with police saying callers can remain confidential.
