12 Minneapolis restaurants to be checked for ADA compliance

The U.S. Attorney's Office for Minnesota says 12 high-traffic restaurants on or adjacent to Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis will be checked to make sure they are in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990. The check does not suggest the restaurants are out of compliance, a spokeswoman with the office says.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for Minnesota said 12 high-traffic restaurants on or adjacent to Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis will be checked to make sure they are in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, reported the Pioneer Press.

The ADA check does not suggest the restaurants are out of compliance, a spokeswoman with the office said.

The names of the 12 restaurants will not be released to the public, and other establishments in the state may be added to the review check from time to time.
