At least 12 vehicles were broken into and two were reported stolen after a crime spree in Wayzata overnight.
The Wayzata Police Department on Tuesday said it received "multiple reports" of thefts from vehicles, with at least a dozen entered at different locations in the city, including one that was in an underground garage.
Two vehicles were reported stolen as part of this activity, police said.
None of the vehicles involved were locked and the two vehicles that were stolen had their keys inside, police said.
This mirrors similar thefts that have happened across the metro area, police said.
Police are reminding people to not keep valuables in their car, including keys and garage door openers, lock their doors and report suspicious activity by calling 911.
