A teenage shooting victim has died three days after being struck by gunfire in Burnsville. 

Eduardo Avila Santiago, 17, of Minneapolis, was shot Aug. 22 on the 600 block of E. 14th St. in Burnsville, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. He died just after 1 a.m. on Aug. 25 at Hennepin Healthcare. 

According to the medical examiner, Avila Santiago died of a gunshot wound to the head and his manner of death has been ruled a homicide. Circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released by authorities. 

No arrests have been made. Burnsville police is asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them by calling 952-322-2323.
