A 17-year-old girl was killed in a crash with a semi-truck on a snowy/icy highway in Stearns County Monday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol's report, the 17-year-old was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee on westbound County Road 146 in Maine Prairie Township just before 8:30 a.m.
She "failed to stop" at the intersection with Highway 15, colliding with the semi-truck that was traveling northbound on Highway 15.
The road was listed as snowy/icy at the time of the crash.
The teenager who was killed has not yet been identified, with the report saying additional information would be released at noon on Tuesday.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 34-year-old Cosmos man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
