A shooting in Rochester early Friday morning left an 18-year-old dead and a 20-year-old in critical condition.
According to multiple reports, citing Rochester Police Department, the gunfire erupted just after 3 a.m. on the 900 block of 41 St. NW, which KTTC-TV reports is the Villages at Essex Park Apartments.
Police said the shooting was the result of a confrontation near the apartment complex, and that the victims and suspect knew each other.
The Post-Bulletin reports that both victims were transported to Mayo Clinic-St. Marys, where the 18-year-old man died and the 20-year-old man is being treated.
It's unclear at this point if an arrest has been made.
