Two people are in custody in connection with the promotion of prostitution at a massage parlor in Waite Park, Minnesota.

The Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force said it had received complaints about "illicit sex acts" and other suspicious activity taking place at the Oriental Massage at 125 Waite Ave. N.

Investigators stopped several members of the public as they left the business, who admitted having paid for sex acts inside.

When officers inspected the premises, a female worker told them she was being held against her will, was being forced to work long hours, and carry out sex acts.

The owner of the business, a 48-year-old woman, along with a 49-year-old man were arrested as a result of the investigation. Both are from St. Cloud.

As well as an inspection of the premises, investigators also got a search warrant for a mobile home at the River View Trailer Park in St. Cloud, where the victim says she'd been forced to stay.

The pair are being held in Stearns County Jail, where they're awaiting charges for promotion of prostitution, with other criminal charges possible.
