2 dead in fiery Coon Rapids crash
Two people were killed after a car crashed into a utility pole and then caught fire.
The incident in Coon Rapids happened 9:10 p.m. Saturday, on Northdale Boulevard Northwest, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said.
The car crashed into the concrete pole west of 119th Avenue, with police arriving to find the vehicle ablaze and two dead adults inside.

The identities of the pair have not yet been determined, nor has how the crash actually happened.
In the past few days, at least four people have died on Minnesota roads, following separate, alcohol-related fatalities in Crow Wing and Meeker Counties on Friday.
