Two were injured after an SUV driven by an 11-year-old girl crashed into a house in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The incident happened just before 1 p.m. Saturday on the 500 block of 4th Avenue South.

Grand Forks PD said that a Chevrolet Tahoe was going south on Walnut Street when it turned onto 4th Avenue.

But the Tahoe went over the curb on the north side of the street, hitting two trees and a house.

The two passengers in the vehicle, the driver's father and another child aged 7, suffered minor injuries, while the Tahoe took major damage.

While the investigation is ongoing, the father has been cited for allowing an unqualified operator.
