Several fire departments on the Iron Range responded to a blaze in downtown Hibbing that injured two people on Sunday.
The fire was reported just after 9:30 a.m. on the 400 block of East Howard Street, which caused "extensive damage" to Mike's Pub and Jacobson Family Dentistry, the Northland FireWire reports.
Hibbing Fire Chief Erik Jankila in a statement said when they arrived, a woman victim was outside the building and there were reports one or two more people were inside the building. A search found no one inside, but a second person later self-presented to the hospital. A third potential victim was found to be out of town.
The two victims were later flown to Hennepin County Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
The fire was contained after "several hours."
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the Northland FireWire says the fire reportedly began above the dental office.
