2 killed in crash on exit ramp from Interstate 94 in Minneapolis

Two people were killed and one person was injured in a crash in Minneapolis on Sunday night. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says the single-vehicle crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. when a Chevy Blazer southbound on Interstate 94 took the ext for 4th Street and then left the roadway and collided with a bridge abutment. 

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and another person was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. 

Identities of the victims have not been released. 

The ramp to 4th Street was closed for a while Sunday night before reopening.
