Authorities say two Minnesotans died in a fiery plane crash on a California golf course last week.
Thomas Ebaugh, 56, of Lakeville, and Kevin Kvarnlov, 34, of Mendota Heights, were among six killed when the small Bombardier CL 600 plane went down in the woods on Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee, California on July 26, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.
The aircraft had left from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and was attempting to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport, My News 4 reports. It's not clear what caused the crash.
The airport said the plane "impacted heavily treed terrain" while on approach for landing on a runway.
Ebaugh and Kvarnlov were both identified as the pilots at the time of the wreck.
The four other passengers on the plane also died in the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
