2 people shot near George Floyd memorial in south Minneapolis
Two people are expected to survive after being shot in south Minneapolis Sunday night.
Details are limited but Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder confirmed that two people, both believed to be adults, were wounded in a shooting near the George Floyd memorial located near the intersection of East 38th Street and Chicago Avenue.
The male and female victims were transported to a hospital by a private vehicle. They suffered injuries that are considered not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
