2 young adults killed in west-central Minnesota crash
Two people were killed in an early morning crash Sunday morning near Osakis.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the two-vehicle crash happened at approximately 5:24 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 3 and Hope Road.
The driver of a Volkswagen Beetle was eastbound on Hope Rode and went through a stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was northbound on County Road 3.
In the Volkswagen were the driver, a 24-year-old from Glenwood, and a 21-year-old passenger from Marshall. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old driving the Silverado was treated and released from an area hospital.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The crash is under investigation.
