21 cited in Fridley prostitution sting
Four women and 19 men were cited during a two-day prostitution sting in Fridley this week, the Pioneer Press reports.
The women were cited for prostitution, and the men were ticketed for soliciting sex from a prostitute at the LivINN Suites, the newspaper reports.
The sting in the northern Twin Cities suburb was carried out by undercover officers who posed as both buyers and sellers of sex on online escort service sites, the newspaper reports. The city of about 27,000 conducts about two prostitution stings a year.
