A 21-year-old woman has died after being pulled from a pool in Woodbury on Saturday.

Woodbury Police Commander John Altman tells Bring Me The News that the woman was pulled from the pool – a location hasn't been revealed – and wasn't breathing when officers arrived at the scene.

Woodbury EMS was able to restore the woman's pulse and transport her to Regions Hospital, but she did not survive. Altman said she died days later but did not provide an exact date or time of death.

The victim's identity hasn't been released and the case is now a death investigation.

As of May 12, Minnesota has seen two reported non-boating drownings: one a hot tub drowning involving a 55-year-old woman and the other a culvert accident involving a 92-year-old man.
