26-year-old shot dead in south Minneapolis identified

A man who was shot and killed in south Minneapolis early Saturday morning has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office as 26-year-old Steven Creamer Jr., of Minneapolis. 

The medical examiner's report says Creamer died of multiple gunshot wounds, with his manner of death ruled a homicide. 

Minneapolis police officers were dispatched to E. 37th St. between Clinton Ave. S. and S. 3rd Ave. in around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15 after Shot Spotter was activated. 

Officers searched the scene and found the victim injured, rendering first aid until paramedics arrived. Creamer, however, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.
