Three kids suffered "significant" injuries when their car, driven by a 14-year-old, fell off a bridge in Prior Lake on Tuesday.
The Prior Lake Police Department says five people were in the car, all juveniles between the ages of 12 and 14, when the car crashed on County Road 21 near Quincy Street around 9:50 p.m.
Police say the vehicle "left the roadway and impacted a bridge before falling over the bridge railing."
Three of the five kids in the car were taken to the hospital with "significant" injuries.
Southwest News Media says a 14-year-old boy was behind the wheel, and police say it appears the kids took a family member's vehicle without their permission.
