More information has been made public regarding the single-vehicle crash that left a 27-year-old mother dead and her three children injured.

The crash happened on Wednesday, Sep. 19 on the west side of Red Wing. Red Wing police say the first officer to respond found the vehicle resting on its roof in a ravine, with voices coming from inside the vehicle.

According to a GoFundMe account for the family, the crash likely happened around 6 a.m. but went unnoticed until 3:30 p.m. when someone on a bus saw the back tires of their vehicle in the ravine and called 911 for help.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Jasmyne Baune of Red Wing. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her three children, ages 7, 16 months and 7 months survived but suffered injuries.

The 7-year-old suffered a broken femur that required surgery and has been "dealing with terrible nightmares about the accident," the GoFundMe page says.

The two younger children were kept in the hospital for two days for observation, but it's unclear what injuries they suffered.

"When you look at the car it truly is a miracle the three kids survived. Thanks for considering a donation and God bless," the fundraiser says.

It's not clear what caused Baune to leave the roadway and crash.
