Three people were killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Minnesota on Saturday.
According to the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 11:45 a.m. in Welch Township on Goodhue County Road 18.
Details are limited, but the sheriff's office says three passengers were pronounced dead at the scene and the two drivers were transported to the hospital with injuries. Identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of family members.
In a separate crash, a 24-year-old man was killed when his 2003 Chevy Tahoe rolled in the ditch, ejecting him and a passenger, the Minnesota State Patrol says.
The crash happened on Interstate 35 in Chisago County near Stacy.
Iman Nefertiti Abdullah of Superior, Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 21-year-old woman from St. Paul, was transported to Regions Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
