Three people were killed a two-vehicle crash about 55 miles west of Eden Prairie on Monday night.
According to the McLeod County Sheriff's Office, the two vehicles crashed head-on near County Road 7 and Yacht Avenue near the town of Stewart. It was reported at 10:56 p.m.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene and they've been identified as Wayne Bernier Jr., 32, Tiffany Dralle, 25, and Bruce Lentz, 60.
Bernier and Dralle were in one vehicle and Lentz was driving the other.
The crash remains under investigation.
The latest fatal incident comes in what has been a deadly week on Minnesota's roads.
There have been 360 deaths on Minnesota roads so far in 2018, according to the Minnesota Department of Traffic Safety. That surpasses 2017's total of 358. There were 336 deaths at this time last year.
Last weekend, two people were killed in Stearns County when a truck slammed into the back of their horse-drawn buggy, and on Monday a pregnant 30-year-old woman and her unborn child died near Sartell when a semi failed to stop at a stop sign.
Further north, near Little Falls, a 15-year-old driver died when he crashed into a tree.
And a St. Paul man was killed as well in a head-on crash in Polk County, Wisconsin on Tuesday.
