3 people stabbed in suspected domestic incident in Crystal

A man who was injured has been detained in the incident.

Three people were stabbed in a suspected domestic violence incident in Crystal early Monday morning. 

The Crystal Police Department says someone called 911 around 1:30 a.m. screaming for help. Police responded to the scene at the 5000 block of Douglas Drive and found a man and two women with "knife wounds."

They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police are investigating the incident as domestic violence and they have detained the man who was injured in connection to the incident. He has not yet been formally charged. 

"While we are continuing to gather details about this incident, the preliminary investigation suggests this is not random and we are not currently looking for any other individuals associated with this incident at this time. We do not believe there is any danger to the public," the police department said.
