3 suspects, ages 20, 18 and 17, arrested in connection to Hibbing homicide

Two young adults and one teenager have been arrested in connection to a homicide in Hibbing. 

On Sunday, Jan. 6, the body of a man was found by a snowmobiler on the Mesabi Trail on the west side of the Iron Range city, and investigators ruled the death of 33-year-old Joshua Robert Lavalley a homicide. 

Hibbing Police Department has now announced that two adults were arrested Monday night and a 17-year-old girl was taken into custody on Tuesday. 

The two adults are both men, ages 18 and 20, respectively. 

Per Bring Me The News policy, their names won't be included in the story until formal charges are filed. 

The cause of Lavalley's death has not yet been provided.
