30 female cyclists pedal length of Mississippi River
The women are in Minnesota, near the end of a 39-day, 2,000-mile trek up the Mississippi River from New Orleans, organized by a company called WomanTours. The women say they have grown stronger together -- and been awed by the fast-changing countryside as they pedal north. “It’s like a traveling sorority,” one said.
