The Edina Police Department is seeking information on a burglary at a local jewelry store.
According to an email news release, a group of people forced their way into R.F. Moeller Jeweler at 2:46 a.m. on May 28 before they smashed display cases and took jewelry.
The suspects were gone when officers arrived.
The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and charging of the people responsible for the burglary.
Anyone with information on what happened or who is responsible is asked to call the Edina Police Department at 952-826-1600.
It is unclear if the burglary is linked in any way to the May 28 protests and riots that saw numerous businesses looted and damaged in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
BMTN has reached out to the city of Edina for more information.
