A man died after his vehicle rolled over into a ditch in St. Louis County Wednesday evening.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened on the 3800 block of Canosia Road near Duluth around 7:45 p.m.
"Poor weather and road conditions likely contributed to the crash," the sheriff's office added.
The 57-year-old man who was killed has not been identified.
The St. Louis County Rescue Squad and the Solway Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash.
Wintry weather pushed through northern Minnesota Wednesday, dumping more than a half-foot of snow in Duluth.
In west-central Minnesota from 2 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, Minnesota State Troopers responded to 30 crashes (no injuries) and another 33 vehicles sput out/vehicles going off the road and three jackknifed semi-trucks, Sgt. Jesse Grabow tweeted, noting roads were slippery Thursday morning.
