Six people were injured when a woman driving a BMW crashed through the window of Panera Bread in Apple Vally on Friday morning.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the Panera located at 15052 Gleason Path. A woman in her mid-30s crashed into the west-facing window, with the impact spewing shards of glass throughout the restaurant.
One of the six people injured was transported to a hospital with noncritical injuries. Police said most of the injuries were minor glass-related cuts and scrapes.
Police said the driver was not injured.
Impairment is not suspected and an investigation is ongoing.
The restaurant has closed for the remainder of Friday, with signs posted on the window saying "Hopefully opening tomorrow!"
