At 4:09 p.m., the Minneapolis Police Department said Ahmed Ali has been found safe.
"Many thanks to the public and the media who helped spread the word that aided in locating him," the department added.

An 83-year-old man considered vulnerable is missing, and the Minneapolis Police Department is asking for help locating him.
Ahmed Ali was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, on the 2000 block of Portland Avenue South, according to the police department. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with "traditional Somali attire" on his lower half.
Police say Ali is 5-foot-7 and weighs 140 pounds, with black and gray hair. He also has facial hair, which may be multicolored.
Anyone who sees Ali is asked to call 911 right away.
