A 9-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Thursday evening after being severely injured while playing on a moving train in St. Paul.
A witness told WCCO that Marshawn Kenneth Farr-Robinson's feet slipped out from under him as he was trying to get on a ladder of the train and both of his feet were severed at the ankle.
It happened in the area of Farrington Street and Ivy Avenue West in St. Paul. Witnesses told KARE 11 that Marshawn was able to crawl several feet before reaching two neighbors who were outside. The Pioneer Press says the boy lives in the area.
KSTP reported a neighbor picked up the boy's severed feet and gave them to police, hoping that they could be reattached.
Marshawn is currently at Regions Hospital. His condition is unknown.
