A call for medical assistance at a Wyoming, Minnesota, house Saturday led to the discovery of an illegal fireworks operation and the arrest of at least two men.

Just before noon, officers from the Wyoming Police Department responded to a report of a man in his 30s who suffered first-degree burns to his hands, arms and face, KARE 11 reports. Police say the man's injuries were caused by a minor explosion in a detached garage at the home on the 7000 block of Lake Boulevard.

He was sent to Regions Burn Unit with non-life threatening injuries. He could be facing charges, police said, according to KSTP-TV.

KARE says officers discovered materials consistent with manufacturing fireworks type explosive devices. Investigators arrested two other men at the home. All three could face felony charges, according to the station.

But Channel 5 reports two men were arrested for manufacturing illegal fireworks, and there was a small explosion in the home due to the manufacturing of illegal mortar-style fireworks in the garage. The fireworks were dismantled and seized.
