Minnesotans enjoyed their Halloween celebrations all day long – helped by the fact that the holiday fell on a Saturday this year.

Rain early in the day put a damper on some activities, but by trick-or-treat time things had dried out over most of the state.

-Anoka - the self-proclaimed Halloween Capital of the World - had its community celebration complete with a parade, a 5K run, a carnival and lots of other activities.

Hundreds of runners braved the cold and rain to participate in the Monster Dash through downtown and along Summit Avenue.
