A MN distillery is folding – and selling all of its equipment on Craigslist

Looking to start your own distillery? You can buy everything you need on Craigslist.

Lost Falls Distillery, which opened a facility in Minneapolis last year after a Kickstarter campaign, says it doesn't have enough investors to continue, so it's throwing in the towel.

Nils Collins, who co-founded the distillery, wrote on the Lost Falls Facebook page in May saying it was closing, unless they got some kind of miracle.

"I'm so thankful to y'all. I've been trying to believe that I exhausted every option rather than say I quit," Collins wrote. "Struggle has been the name of the game for years. I couldn't transverse the muck this time."

On Wednesday, Lost Falls announced its distillery closing sale on Craigslist, saying for $15,000 someone can get all the "necessary approved equipment to start a distillery." (See the full list of equipment with photos here.)

As of July 28, there were 21 licensed distilleries in Minnesota, according to state's Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division.
