Activists remain camped out in downtown Minneapolis
Activists continue to camp out on Government Plaza in downtown Minneapolis. KSTP-TV takes a look, above.
Some of the activists tell Minnesota Public Radio that they have to go back to work soon, but say that won't stop them from spending their free time back on the plaza.
On Tuesday, the Downtown Journal reports the group will march from where they've stationed themselves since last week at Government Plaza to the Wells Fargo building. There, organizers say they'll demand that banks be charged higher taxes. Other events are scheduled throughout the week in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Local artist and writer Craig Stellmacher interviews the activists:
OccupyMN is one of many 'occupations' occurring worldwide. The group was inspired by the 'Occupy Wall Street' demonstrations taking place in New York.
