Adrian Peterson slams rumors, says 'It's not all about the money'

Peterson's confident he will play this season, but he's in no rush to find a team.

It's been more than two weeks since NFL free agency began, and Adrian Peterson is still unsigned.

There's been plenty of chatter as to why, particularly that Peterson is asking a hefty $10-$12 million paycheck.

But Peterson slammed those rumors Friday night on Twitter saying, "YOU CANT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ OR HEAR."

The 32-year-old went on to say "It's not all about the money." It's more about finding the right team – which he's apparently in no rush to do.

"The last thing I'm worried about is playing ball this coming season ... IT WILL HAPPEN!" Peterson said.
