After 'scumbag', final Ellison-Fields debate canceled

The event was canceled, although a Fields spokesman said they did not agree to that.
At the low point of their last encounter on Thursday, Ellison called Fields a "low-life scumbag," and a debate producer physically stepped between the two.
Ellison later apologized.
Fields tried to use Ellison's outburst to raise campaign cash, Edina Patch reports.
