Aircraft maker confirms new plant in Superior, will hire up to 600 workers
Wisconsin Gov. Walker and Kestrel Aircraft announced plans Monday morning for an airplane manufacturing center that will bring up to 600 permanent new jobs to the city. The state offered a suite of loans and tax incentives to court the aircraft maker, which was also considering a site in Maine. WDIO says the company will recruit locally and tap area community colleges for training.
