All Mike Yeo could do was watch as the Wild torched the Blues

This had to be painful for Minnesota's former head coach.

Former Minnesota Wild head coach Mike Yeo got a first hand look as the Minnesota Wild shellacked the St. Louis Blues 5-1 at Xcel Energy Center Thursday night.

It was another night for Minnesota's young stars. Erik Haula, Nino Niederreiter, Tyler Graovac and Mikael Granlund combined to score four of the five Minnesota goals.

None was prettier than Granlund's lamp-lighter early in the third.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 24 of the 25 shots that he faced Thursday night.

The Wild head into the All-Star Break as the clear No. 1 seed in the Western Conference at 32-11-5.
