Allegiant announces new St. Cloud-Orlando route
Going to Disney World?
One day after no-frills Spirit Airlines announced that it would fly to four warm-weather destinations from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, including Orlando, Allegiant Air announced that it would create a new route from St. Cloud to Orlando.
Allegiant's new twice-weekly St. Cloud/Orlando flights begin Dec. 18, 2013, with fares as low as $99 roundtrip, the airline said in its news release.
Allegiant Air also flies nonstop from St. Cloud to Phoenix, the Star Tribune noted.
Meanwhile, Sun Country Airlines will extend its service to the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas later this year.
