An Amber Alert has been issued in Wisconsin to help find 13-year-old Jayme Closs.

Closs is missing and thought to be "in danger" after two bodies were found at a home in Barron, Wisconsin early Monday morning.

The bodies have since been identified as Closs' parents, James and Denise Closs, aged 56 and 46 respectively.

Their deaths are being treated as a double homicide, authorities say. They were reportedly shot to death.

Their daughter was not found when officers arrived at their home. She is described as 5-foot tall, 100 pounds, with green eyes and blond or strawberry hair.

The FBI is now involved in the investigation of Closs' disappearance. They have not been able to supply any vehicle information at this stage.

Barron is about 45 miles east of the Minnesota/Wisconsin border at Taylors Falls.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact 911.

Amber Alerts are issued by authorities when they believe a child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.
