UPDATE: 10 P.M.

Missing boy Andrew Cunat has been found safely.

Original story

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Belle Plaine PD are appealing for help finding a 15-year-old boy missing since Tuesday evening.

Andrew James Raymond Cunat was last seen leaving Belle Plaine High School at 9 p.m. Tuesday following a track meet in Le Sueur, and didn't return home or show up for school on Wednesday.

"Andrew is a straight A student and it is not like him to not return home or be late to school," the BCA alert said.

Because this behavior is out of character, his family reported him missing and are concerned for his safety.

He's described as 5'8", 115 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Nike hoodie, gray sneakers with white bottoms and a black Adidas backpack with blue stripes on the side.

Anyone with information information regarding his whereabouts please contact the Belle Plaine PD at 952-496-8423 or dial 911.
