A Wisconsin man considered armed and dangerous is on the run from police and may be headed for Minnesota.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office has been trying to find Jonathan Pogreba, a 43-year-old man from Eagle, Wisconsin, which is about 35 miles west of Milwaukee.

He is approximately 6-feet tall and 210 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dirty white shirt and blue jeans.

Pogreba is wanted for his role in a domestic dispute with his wife on June 5 in which the sheriff's department says gunfire was exchanged between family members. None of the family members authorities have contacted were injured and they are not sure if Pobrega was shot.

"It is possible that he may be, but again, we have not been able to confirm that," a release from the department said. "We do believe he is still armed and dangerous."

Pogreba is believed to have fled the Eagle area after stealing a white, 2015 BMW 328XI with Wisconsin license plate 128-YCW.

"We believe he may be headed to the La Crosse area or possibly Minnesota where he is known to have acquaintances," Waukesha County authorities said.

People are advised to avoid contact with Pogreba and to call your local police department or the Waukesha County Communication Center at 262-446-5070 if you see him or a vehicle matching the white BMW's description.
