Boy recovering after 'internal decapitation'

A toddler in Australia has had his spine reattached to his head after he was "internally decapitated" following a high-speed car accident. 16-month-old Jaxon Taylor is miraculously learning to walk and talk again after a six hour operation grafting his vertebrae together again, after the impact tore them apart from his head, and repairing his spinal cord.

Russia launches missile strikes 'on Islamic State'

Russia says it has launched cruise missile strikes on Islamic State targets in Syria from warships in the Caspian Sea. Moscow has also denied that many of the strikes it has launched this week have been at non-IS targets, namely Syrian rebels opposed to the regime of President Assad.

 Clinton comes out in opposition of trade deal

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton has come out in opposition of the landmark trade agreement between 12 Pacific nations that is strongly supported by President Obama. The Trans Pacific Partnership would create one of the largest free trade areas in the world, but she says her concerns about currency manipulation and the benefits major companies may get compared to consumers have not been addressed.
