The person who was found dead in a burning car in south Minneapolis last week has now been identified as an elderly woman.
Rosalyn Frances Bailey, 78, was named by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner on Saturday, two days after her body was discovered on the 5600 block of Minnehaha Park Drive South.
At the time, authorities described the death as "suspicious," and said that the victim also appeared to have suffered traumatic injuries.
The car was located in Coldwater Spring, a state park near Fort Snelling.
