Authorities investigate fatal Bloomington house fire

One person has been reported dead in the fire.

A house fire in Bloomington has left one person dead, authorities said Wednesday. 

The fire occurred Wednesday in the 7400 block of Landau Drive, according to the Bloomington Fire Department. 

The incident is being investigated by the city's fire and police departments and the State Fire Marshall. 

Last year, Minnesota had the highest amount of house fires since 2017, killing 53 people, the State Fire Marshal reported in January.
