Authorities recover body found floating in Lake Bemidji
Details are limited but authorities in the Bemidji area are investigating the death of a woman whose body was pulled from a lake on Wednesday.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday on a report of an object that appeared to be a body floating in Lake Bemidji in northern Minnesota.
Bemidji police and sheriff's deputies, along with DNR officers responded to the lake and recovered the body of a female. The age and identify of the woman has not been provided.
The Beltrami County Corono's Office is conducting an autopsy, at which point more information is expected to be released.
