Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., has agreed to three debates with DFL opponent Jim Graves, MPR reports. He had asked for seven, and he has not agreed to the three events.

Those debates: a St. Cloud Chamber debate on Oct. 30 at the St. Cloud Convention Center, an MPR News debate on The Daily Circuit on Nov.1 and a KSTP-TV debate on Nov. 4, MPR says.

Meanwhile, Bachmann has released her first TV ads of the campaign, one day after Graves released two spots. The 30-second Bachmann ad, "No Room for Us," says Graves would be a big spender and bad for Minnesota taxpayers.
